Privacy is important to us, and this notice applies to all communication platforms we use. Please read carefully and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. The nature of our business requires us to collect data such as names, addresses, contact numbers and email addresses as well as sensitive data such as medical information. We collect data via our website, incoming email and phone enquiries. On occasion we may collect first point of contact data from varying web sources when making initial contact with you - schools in particular. You are within your rights to ask us to delete your data at any point.

We will use your personal data to personalise the contact we make with you. We will also use your data to send you marketing information regarding services and products we offer that would be directly suitable for you and will ask for your consent to contact you for those reasons. We will not seek your permission to contact you regarding the same reason you contacted us in the first place, for example - signing up for a class, we will contact you at any time using your data, for anything directly related to the class you signed up to. We may also use a text service such as 'Text Local' to contact you, your data is not being shared,  Text Local is simply a platform to facilitate a secure way to contact many of our students at once.

We will store your data on an encrypted and password protected database and promise to keep your details relevant and up to date. As a member you will be asked to share your data with the following third parties as they provide a payment collection service for both companies, they are: Stripe, PayPal and GoCardless, all of which operate a secure service complying with GDPR law. Members of Hip Hop Pop who have opted-in to being contacted re other marketing will have their data shared with the Harlow Playhouse - as per the details when you opt-in. Please go to their websites for more information on their privacy policies. Data is backed up with encrypted backups to eliminate potential accidental loss of data. We will keep your data for as long as the services and products we offer are potentially relevant and of interest to you, and for the purpose of legal requirements for business administration, or indefinitely if you have opted in to receive other information about Hip Hop Pop, until you tell us otherwise. We use cookies to improve user experience, and analyse website traffic. For these reasons, we may share your site usage data only with our analytics partners. You have the right to withdraw consent to your data at any point, that also includes corrections and additions by emailing our data protection officer on the email address above.
